A Day in The Life (of Coworking)

“What’s a coworking space,” you ask? Get the inside scoop on what we offer, amenities and all you need-to-know on this electric culture that is coworking.

You wake up, get ready for the day, but hold off on the coffee… because you know that a handcrafted local coffee brew is waiting for you at your Coworking Space. Better yet, you remember today is Whipped Coffee Day (an event your favorite community managers put on). You immediately feel enthusiastic about your day.

Now you have the choice of workspace, and of course they’re all completely free from those WFH distractions (a big win). A private office space if you need some quality heads-down time, that you’ve accessorized to make your own. A dedicated desk for when you want your own space, but still want the social aspect of working in an office. Or flexspace for those that want freedom and (yes, it’s in the name) flexibility in their work day.

“Clarence, hold my calls,” you tell no one, but it makes you feel empowered as you walk into your private team office. You’re Corporate now, and since you’re a remote employee (thanks COVID), your company gave your team the OK to rent a private office space. It turns out that working from your kitchen counter with the dog barking and the kids need for constant attention was not ideal, to say the least.

As you begin to read through emails you notice the weekly 25N Coworking Newsletter sitting in your inbox. You open the email and read on for all the juicy in-space highlights and this week’s events. “Ooooh Rooftop Happy Hour is this Thursday and Think Tank is this Friday.” Both perfect opportunities to socialize and network.

It’s almost lunch time, so naturally you check the 25N Slack channel for what today’s lunch program is featuring, and it happens to be your favorite, Chipotle. Wins all around today. You place your order and the Community Manager takes care of the rest. Plus, 25N will cover the delivery fee.

Next up, that important client Zoom call. You decide to step out of your team office into a phone booth for this one. Ahhh complete, blissful silence. After 30 intense minutes, you close your laptop and feel elated by your success. You just closed the deal, and the Community Manager who sees you exit the booth knows it. Air high fives to you, sir.

It’s time to knock off that team project. Your team takes advantage of the onsite meeting rooms. You collaborate in the most ideal room; equipped with write-on walls, LED monitors, and a Community Manager who can make just about anything happen, if you find yourself in need of assistance.

“Wow, that was such an efficient use of our time!” Never could you have done that in your home office. Team morale is high and it seems there’s nothing you can’t accomplish. You decide to end this top-class day and stop by your day-locker to grab your things. On your way out your coworker asks if you want to get a head start on next week’s deadline over the weekend? You love that you have 24-hour access to this space and that you work with a team of go-getters.

You leave the coworking space and feel confident in your career. “Yes, this is exactly where I need to be right now.”
