A 5-Minute Meditation to Start (or Reset) Your Day
Some days call for a vacation… but most days just call for a break.
That's the idea behind this Workwell Project offering: a 5-minute guided breathing meditation, recorded by our very own Emily Ford, Senior Hospitality Coordinator for 25N Geneva. No mat required. No prior experience needed. Just a chair, a quiet moment, and permission to actually take a break.
Why Five Minutes Matters
Your work day moves fast. Emails stack up, deadlines creep in, and "I'll take a break later" turns into 5pm before you know it.
This meditation is built for that reality. It walks you through a seated breathing practice, a full-body scan to release tension, and a few quiet moments to simply be, no agenda attached. It's short enough to fit between meetings and effective enough to actually shift your afternoon.
That's the whole point of The Workwell Project: wellness that fits into your workday, not around it. A clearer head and a steadier breath aren't perks. They're what let you do your best work and still have something left at the end of the day.
So, find a quiet corner (psst, our wellness rooms work great for this), press play, and give yourself five minutes. Your inbox will still be there when you're done. You'll just be in better shape to tackle it.

Emily Ford
Sr. Hospitality Coordinator
25N Geneva
Emily is a Sr. Hospitality Coordinator by day and a certified yoga teacher and Ayurveda Wellness Counselor by training. She's been practicing yoga since 2018 and teaching since 2022, with additional training in personalized wellness rooted in daily routines, seasonal living, and mindful nutrition.
Emily believes there's almost always a root cause behind feeling "off," and that small, intentional shifts can make a real difference. The Workwell Project grew out of that belief: the people around her deserve to feel as good as possible, and she's built her career around helping make that happen.
The Workwell Project brings monthly wellness programming to 25N members, from meditation to movement to everything in between. Curious what's next on the calendar? Ask us at the front desk or keep an eye on your community newsletter.
